A Software Vendor sells software and support services to be used by individual providers, group providers, clearinghouses, billing services or service bureaus. The vendors listed here have tested their software and have been approved for PA HIPAA electronic claims submission with HP, the front-end claims processing contractor for the Pennsylvania Office of Medical Assistance Programs. Providers submit electronic claims directly to HP and receive adjudications directly back from HP.
NOTE: No one will automatically receive an 835 response. A provider must specifically request an 835 response or have a contracted agent receive the response.
