The Bureau of Autism Services is committed to increasing the number of professionals trained to support individuals with an Autism Spectrum Disorder, ASD. Each year the Bureau of Autism Services hosts the PA Autism Training Conference, PATC. This conference addresses real-life situations faced by those who work directly with individuals with autism, from the youngest children to older adults. The presenters share strategies that exemplify best and most current practices developed by nationally recognized autism experts. Professionals in attendance consider challenges for those individuals with autism they currently support. Each session offers practical strategies and solutions that can improve the quality of life for people with autism and their families.
WHO ATTENDS: Adult Autism Waiver providers, Adult Community Autism Program (ACAP) providers, adult service providers, direct service staff professionals, behavioral health professional staff, diagnosticians, educators, vocational counselors, employment providers, clinicians, nurses, pediatricians, mental health clinicians, family members/caregivers, individuals with autism.
