The Behavioral Health and Aging Coalition (BH&AC) in collaboration with the Office of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (OMHSAS) and Department of Aging are conducting a review of the County Mental Health/Aging Memorandums of Understanding (MOU). A review committee has been established comprised of state employees from OMHSAS and Department of Aging as well as volunteer stakeholders from the Older Adult Advisory Committee. The entire review process is to be completed by September 23, 2011. That will allow time for the BH&AC to identify counties with promising and best practices and include that information in the regional training forums that will take place in October.
The training material is included here to allow all participants to have access to the recorded training material immediately in order to review and amend the MOUs in a timely fashion for inclusion in a report due no later than September 23, 2011.
