The Department implemented Grouper version 23 on March 1, 2006. All claims with discharge dates October 1, 2005 through June 30, 2010 should be coded with diagnosis and procedure codes effective with Grouper 23.

The Department implemented APR DRG version 27 on March 4, 2011. All claims with discharge dates after June 30, 2010 should be coded with diagnosis and procedure codes effective with Grouper 27.
